OAsk Odell
Pricing

One brain. Three ways to run it.

Odell is priced per business — never per seat, because a brain everybody's afraid to use is worthless. The lanes differ in one thing: how deep your answer to “who has my stuff?” needs to go. Every lane starts with the same thing — the interviews that build your company's brain.

Pricing is set in a conversation, after we know your company's size and knowledge map. No checkout buttons, no surprises.

Lane 1 · Default

Managed

We run it. You ask it. Odell lives on our platform, on our AI accounts. Your monthly covers the platform, the monitoring, and a generous included usage allowance — with a meter you can watch in the product, and overage past the allowance. Nothing is ever “unlimited,” because unlimited is how honest products go broke and dishonest ones cut corners.

  • Onboarding interviews for the owner and your knowledge-holders
  • Cabinets, permissions, approvals, gap tickets, audit log
  • Document and email ingestion included
  • Included usage allowance with a visible meter
  • Best for: most companies — you want it to just work
Lane 2 · Your accounts

Lease — bring your own APIs

Our platform, your engine room. You lease the Odell back end and connect your own AI provider accounts. Every model and voice bill lands on your own card, under terms you chose and can revoke. The lease carries a larger upfront fee and a lower monthly, and we monitor the health of your connections — if your account lapses, Odell stops answering, we alert you, and you hold the fix.

  • Everything in Managed, on your own provider accounts
  • Your keys live in your tenant configuration, revocable by you
  • Connection health monitoring and lapse alerts from us
  • Best for: companies that want the usage bills — and the provider relationship — in their own name
Lane 3 · Your server

Dedicated

The brain lives on your box. Odell runs on a dedicated server that's yours, with every API connected under your own accounts. You pay for the server, the APIs, and the extras; we provision it, connect it, monitor it, and maintain it. It's the premium answer to “who has my stuff?”: nobody but you. Revoke our management key and the box is simply yours.

  • Everything in Lease, on hardware you own
  • Cabinets, documents, and logs never leave your server
  • Provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance by The Agency
  • Best for: firms with real confidentiality obligations — or owners who simply sleep better this way

One honest line, up front: a dedicated server changes where your knowledge lives. When someone asks a question, the few entries needed to answer still travel to the AI provider — under your own account and terms, which you chose. Anyone who promises “the AI never sees your data” is selling you something that can't answer questions.

Add-on module

Voice is an extra — on purpose.

Base Odell is typed Ask, uploads, and email-in. Voice in + voice out — talk to Odell, Odell talks back — is a bolt-on module with its own generous minutes allowance: metered, capped, never unlimited. Voice is the one cost that scales by the minute, and we'd rather price it honestly than bury it and throttle you later.

Odell's voice is a part, not the brain: a replaceable, natural voice (our default is Fish Audio's S2.1 Pro) reading answers that come from the same permissioned cabinets. Swap the voice, keep the brain.

Every lane includes
  • The interviews. Owner first, then your knowledge-holders. This is the setup, and it's the point.
  • Approval before live. Nothing Odell drafts is answerable until a human says yes.
  • Permissions in plain words. Everyone, my department, named people, only me.
  • The audit log. Every ask, every open, every change — readable by the owner.
  • Your brain is yours. If you ever leave, your cabinets and documents go with you.
Next step

Pricing starts with your knowledge map, not a rate card.

Tell us who everybody goes to at your company, and we'll tell you what your brain is worth building — and which lane fits. The first conversation is free.
